Hurtigruten
A Hurtigruten voyage is the best way to experience the calm, sheltered waters of Norway’s shores, the country’s people, landscape and wildlife. In the late 19th century, seasoned Norwegian Sea Captain, Richard With, started a year-round steam ship service to link northern and southern Norway, and since then the Hurtigruten fleet has moved forward to also operate in Spitsbergen, Greenland and Antarctica, offering expedition voyages to the heart of these spectacular lands.
Set off in the springtime, when the sunlight rejuvenates life along the coastline, or discover the perpetual daylight of Norways’ summer above the Arctic Circle. Witness the brilliant colours of autumn, or experience the incredible Northern Lights when winter casts its magical spell on the landscape.
