Avalon Angkor

Avalon Angkor

Avalon Angkor is an intimate ship carrying only 32 passengers, creating a unique and personalised cruising experience. Avalon Angkor cruises are sure to delight with outstanding hospitality, fee-free shore excursions, and fresh, local onboard cuisine.

The staterooms include fruit and flowers upon arrival, spa branded amenities, kimonos and slippers for comfort, and unlimited mineral water. Movies and personal DVD players are available to check out and watch from the comfort of your own bed, and all staterooms have air conditioning. Because Avalon Angkor only has 16 staterooms, all guests will delight in personalised and friendly service.

Shore excursions are complimentary and include touring local monuments, visiting famous landmarks, and experiencing the culture of quaint villages and large cities alike. Avalon Angkor's chefs invite guests along to explore local markets for fresh dinner ingredients, and local guides and cruise staff make every excursion enjoyable as well as informative. Onboard Avalon Angkor, enjoy destination seminars from cruise guides, cultural film presentations, and culinary lessons. The expansive Sun Deck has covered areas for relaxing and reading, and the library and bar is ideal for lounging or finding a good book.

At night, Avalon Angkor hosts occasional cocktail parties onboard for you to mingle with other guests, and the Observation Saloon transforms from a scenic lounge during the day to a comfortable meet-up spot for drinks in the evening. Local performers are often invited onboard for after dinner shows.

Onboard Activities

Avalon Angkor welcomes children, although there are no special accommodations or facilities for youth. Because these cruises have destination-intensive itineraries, young children are not recommended.

Avalon Angkor has one main dining room onboard, offering traditional, fixed seating for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast is served buffet-style with a variety of stations to choose from, including fruit, muesli, cereal, and omelets. Lunch offers soup, salad, and dessert from buffet stations, as well as a main course served at the table. For dinner, you can enjoy a multi-course meal with fresh, regional cuisine and locally sourced ingredients. European cuisine is also available, as well as vegetarian dishes. Complimentary local beer and spirits are offered at each meal.
