Red Frogs and WaterWorks on Carnival Legend

Posted March 24th, 2014

Where on the world's oceans would you expect to find a Red Frog and WaterWorks? Aboard Carnival Legend, where fun for everyone is all part of the experience.

The cruise ship has emerged from a multi-million dollar upgrade in The Bahamas, which includes the tropics-inspired Red Frog Pub and aqua park WaterWorks.

Big kids and small are guaranteed to get wet in the WaterWorks aqua park, whether in the 214-foot Twister slide or 187-foot Green Thunder slide where riders can hit speeds up to 40 kms an hour! There are also spray toys and small racing slides in the appropriately-named "Splash Zone" - but it's a safe bet you won't stay dry if you visit anywhere near this zone!

If a stiff drink is in order after braving the Splash Zone, the Caribbean-themed Red Frog Pub will offer the perfect antidote, where the relaxed cruise ship ambience is matched with some delectable Caribbean beverages.

There are more fresh dining options as well, especially the Asian-inspired delicacies in sushi restaurant Bonsai Sushi.

It wouldn't be Carnival Legend without some innovations in entertainment though. Live performances and state-of-the-art special effects are on show in the new Playlist Productions, while passengers can themselves take part in the fun through Hasbro, The Game Show.

Add in other upgrades to swimming pools and gyms, and the Cherry on Top confectionery and novelty shop, and everyone aboard is guaranteed a truly Legend-ary cruise experience.
