New Levels of Luxury Aboard P&O Cruises Arcadia
This month sees P&O Cruises unveil the multi-million dollar refurbishment to their cruise ship Arcadia.
Arcadia has been transformed for the new year following a multi-million dollar refurbishment, which encompassed a number of upgrades to cabins, dining outlets and public areas.
Passengers aboard the refurbished ship will have the option of staying in one of the range of new cabin types featuring 32" or 40" flatscreen TVs.
Venturing through the ship, passengers can browse the new shopping area, redesigned in the style of an upmarket department store, and pick up product from a range of luxury brands.
Then when the sun begins to set, the lounge and bar area The Crow's Nest welcomes visitors with richly upgraded furnishings throughout. Enjoy an aperitif before savouring a delectable Asian-fusion meal in the Michelin-star East restaurant.
And for anyone with energy left to move after dining, revellers can dance the night away in the new Globe venue.
It's an extensive refurbishment sure to offer cruise travellers enticing new levels of luxury, and Kiwi cruisers will be able to see the changes for themselves when the Arcadia visits New Zealand shores over the next couple of weeks as part of the ship's 92-night world circumnavigation.
