Caribbean Cruise Seasons
For the perfect cruise getaway all year round - head to the Caribbean. With white sandy beaches & crystal clear waters, it's no wonder the Caribbean is one of the most popular cruise destinations in the world.
We know that there's cruises all year round in the Caribbean, but when is a good time to cruise the Caribbean?
High Season:
February - April, June - August, Christmas & the New Year Holidays.
The pros and cons of Sailing in Season:
Caribbean is loved by many! If you are thinking about travelling to the Caribbean during the peak season you should plan early, & expect it to be a bit on the expensive side. School holidays are when ships are at their full capacity, however it is also the best time to sail with children as kids programs are in full swing. If you are looking for peace & quiet on your Caribbean cruise, try looking for a cruise that falls outside of the school holidays.
Low/Shoulder Season:
April – May, September – January (except holidays).
The pros and cons of Sailing off Season:
The low season can often be the perfect time to set sail on a Caribbean cruise. With great weather, smaller crowds & sometimes even cheaper fares, there is no way you can go wrong with a Caribbean cruise. The Caribbean suffers from the hurricane season (June - November). Threat of a hurricane could potentially lead to a change of port/route.
Have you ever been on a Caribbean cruise? When did you go? How was the weather?
