Puerto Limon, Costa Rica
Puerto Limon has grown to become Costa Rica's premier port town located on the Caribbean coast south east of San Jose. The area boasts towering mountains, magnificent rain forests and sun-drenched beaches.
Limon is the host of one of Costa Rica's most famous carnivals called Dia de las Culturas. The festival's purpose is to celebrate Costa Rica's diverse culture but is a wild crazy Mardi Gras type party.

Port Location - The Port of Limon is located in downtown Limon within walking distance of the town.
Transport Links - The Juan Santamaria International Airport is located in San Jose approximately 100 km's from Puerto Limon. Public and tourist buses are available from San Jose to Limon, as well as rental cars. Limon is easily accessible on foot.
