The city of Nadi is the third largest city located on the western side of the island of Viti Levu, the main and largest island in Fiji. It is largely a transit point for other destinations; Suva is only a 30 minute flight away and the City of Lautoka is 20kms North with Vuda Point nearby.
There are excellent facilities and attractions in the Nadi area including shopping, restaurants, scuba diving, golf, game fishing, jet boat riding, trekking, mountain touring, inter-island cruising and island hopping. Behind Nadi Town are the mountains of the Nausori Highlands with views to Nadi Bay and outlying Islands. Here you will find small inland villages and natural attractions such as waterfalls. A visit to the Garden of the Sleeping Giants to see one of the largest orchid collections in the world is excellent.
The port is located at nearby Denarau Island which houses 5 star resorts, restaurants and bars, golf courses and the Denarau marina. From here you can visit the Mamanuca and Yasawa Group of Islands by boat or plane.
