Ventura’s youth facility, The Reef, is an expansive club with separate rooms for specific age groups from two to seventeen. Kids are split up into four groups, with Splashers for two to four-year olds, Surfers for five to eight-year olds, Scubas for nine to twelve-year olds, and H2O for thirteen to seventeen-year-olds. Kids can enjoy arts and crafts, sport games, competitions, scavenger hunts, TVs, and late-night discos, as well as a supervised kid’s dip pool accessible from The Reef. The Havana lounge is used on certain nights for talent shows and rock school.
Ventura’s dining options are diverse, from casual to gourmet. The main dining rooms, Cinnamon, Saffron, and Bay Tree serve continental cuisine, with hot breakfasts and afternoon tea. The two casual buffet-style restaurants, Waterside and Beach House, have themed buffets, with Indian and Asian nights, as well as a special children’s tea in Beach House. Enjoy tapas or a three-course meal and Spanish guitar in Las Ramblas and pan-Asian cuisine in East. The White Room offers upscale gourmet cuisine with an extensive wine list, or for an intimate dinner, selections from the White Room can be delivered to your room with a butler, champagne, and flowers.
