Island Passage

Island Passage

Island Passage was designed with a luxurious, spacious and comfortable layout in mind, for a maximum of 24 passengers. Featuring oversized cabins, generous ensuites, wide halls and decks, you will have the overwhelming feeling of being onboard a small private yacht. Your stateroom will boast fine linens, a selection of natural soaps and shampoos, a nightly turndown service with delicious chocolates and bottled water, fresh flowers, ample lighting, storage and seating areas and much more.

Every day you will be able to take part in a series of onboard activities, or simply relax in a steamer chair with a book from the library, or lounge by the pool. For fun trips away from the ship, Island Passage carries purpose-built landing craft, three large tenders, sea kayaks, a five-seat helicopter, fish and snorkel equipment. The expedition boats are designed to provide fast and efficient transport to and from the Island Passage, and are well suited for exploring local bays, islands and rivers that are right on your doorstep.

Onboard Activities

Kids

Children aged 13 years and over are welcome to cruise onboard Island Passage, when accompanied by, and sharing a cabin, with their parents. Families will be able to enjoy local activities and explore the regions together.

Dining

Island Passage has a professional galley and chefs dedicated to making every meal magnificent. Breakfast and lunch are usually served on the aft deck, where a perfect sea view is par for the course. In the evening, you can dine under the stars, or head indoors to dine in style at one of the 12-seater tables in the Rangitoto Dining Room on the Promenade Deck. Each meal will present you with a wide range of fresh produce and Pacific inspired flavours. Lobster, fish, shrimp and squid is usually caught that day and presented on the evening menu, and locally grown meat, fruit and vegetables will be used daily. The chefs are more than happy to prepare dishes for special dietary requirements, but advance notice must be given. The onboard wine cellar will give you a selection of award-winning Australian and New Zealand wines to choose from, and soft drinks, juices, tea, espresso coffee and bottled water are all included.
