Sue Grigg - Store Manager

Sue has been in the retail travel industry for 19 years before moving to specialise in cruising. With extensive destination knowledge and a strong passion for travel, Sue combines her keen eye for detail and her dedication to providing uncompromising service. An avid traveller and confirmed cruisaholic, Sue has travelled to every continent and cruised with Seabourn, Oceania and Celebrity in the Mediterannean, as well as Royal Caribbean, Holland America, Princess, P&O and Star Cruises. Inspections of many other cruise ships, including Cunard, Voyages of Discovery, Regent Seven Seas, Crystal, Paul Gauguin and many others. Sue's recommendations for hot new cruises include the Black Sea voyages, river cruising between Vietnam and Cambodia, and the New England coast from New York to Quebec.

Amanda Elliott

Amanda has spent over 18 years in both wholesale and retail sectors of the travel industry. Having found her passion and excitement for travel while living in the UK, Amanda has gained a wealth of travel experiences while travelling to all 7 continents. She has extensive knowledge in all aspects of travel, specialising in adventure destinations such as South America and Africa. Amanda has cruised to Australia, South Pacific, Asia, Amazon, Egypt, Galapagos Islands and Antarctica. She has also cruised with children, so can offer first hand advice on family cruising. As well as her own personal cruise experiences, she has also inspected many cruise ships that have visited our shores including Holland America, Paul Gauguin, Crystal, Queen Mary 2, Orion and Seabourn.

Catherine Dickson

Catherine has spent over 12 years in both wholesale and retail sectors of the travel industry as well as a number of years travelling the world. She has travelled extensively to many countries and had the opportunity to experience all kinds of travel including coach tours, small group adventures, overland tours, exclusive hotels and of course cruising. Catherine has a passion for adventure destinations, including Galapagos and Easter Islands. Exploring via the ancient highways of the world - river cruising - she has travelled on some of the great rivers of the world, the Danube, Nile, Yangtze and the Mekong. She also has a passion for small ship and expedition cruising and the opportunities that they provide to get up close to the wildlife and to experience the local cultures.

Vanessa Mynot

Canadians love to cruise and having worked in Toronto with Flight Centre for four years, Vanessa now has extensive knowledge of cruising in the Caribbean, Mexico, Alaska and Europe. Having been in the travel industry for 16 years, Vanessa has ticked off a number of countries in her travels – from the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia, the Pacific, through to North America, Africa and Australia. She has also cruised Fiji, the Caribbean and the Whitsundays. With meticulous attention to detail and an unrivaled love of cruising, Vanessa is the ultimate cruising specialist.

Rowen Neville-White

Rowen has been in the travel industry for 10 years. She discovered her passion whilst on her OE after completing university and since then has gained a wealth of travel knowledge via her many experiences in Europe, Middle East, Asia and the Pacific. Rowen has had the opportunity to experience all kinds of travel from backpacker to five star luxury including cruising. One of her career highlights was being able to experience swimming with the great Manta rays in the Yasawa Islands. Rowen has also had firsthand experience with P&O Pacific, Princess, Oceania & Holland America cruise lines.

Debbie Christian

Debbie Christian has been in the travel industry for 15 years and has worked in both retail and airline sectors. World travelled and looking for a change she was fortunate to be offered work in the growing niche cruise travel market 6 years ago and has been ‘sailing‘ ever since. Debbie has strong website & cruise marketing knowledge, she has cruised on or inspected a majority of ships including P&O Pacific and UK, Princess, Cunard, Royal Caribbean, Holland America , Paul Gauguin Tahiti and Star Cruises in Asia.Her highlight to date has been river cruising on the Nile and Queen Mary 2 and she would love to sail to Antarctica and South America. With strong destinational and ship experience Debbie can help you choose the right cruise for you and your family.

Michelle Sutton

Michelle Sutton recently returned to Flight Centre after 11 years raising three children. Starting with Flight Centre 1991, Michelle has held roles as a Consultant, Assistant Team Leader, Team leader and then Auckland Area Leader. Michelle has travelled most of the world and seen it from the eyes of a backpacker and a Travel Consultant - walking the Inca Trail was one of the many highlights. Passionate about travelling from a young age. Michelle has now fine tuned that passion to Cruising. She is about to experience Cruising as a solo Mum travelling with 3 kids, so will be full of advice for single parents and families.

Joanne Matthews

Jo has been in the travel industry for the best part of 10 years, starting her career at Downtown Flight Centre, most recently at Parnell Cruiseabout. With a huge love for travel, Jo has travelled all over the world which means that she can give first hand advice along with immaculate and prompt service. Jo has been on many small ship cruises, most recently on her honeymoon in 2011 in Vanuatu with Island Escape... As well as this she has been on many cruise lines including Holland America, Seabourn, Cunard, P&O, Princess along with many more.

Jaimie McDonald

Truly a cruise specialist, Jaimie has worked onboard cruise ships for seven years from luxury yachts to mega cruise liners including Seabourn, Windstar, Holland America, Cunard and Carnival Cruise Lines and also cruised while on vacation. Over this time Jaimie had the opportunity to experience almost every port and itinerary in the world including two world cruises and three Antarctica sailings! Jaimie couldn't be more excited to share his passion for cruising, and has literally sailed the seven seas! Combined with his unrivalled first hand experiences and absolute passion for the seas Jaimie is truly a cruise specialist who can help with all of your cruise holiday plans.

She has personally travelled to China, USA, Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, Rarotonga, Fiji, Tahiti and lived in Australia and Mexico! After working for Princess Cruises for a year, she has a wealth of cruise and destination knowledge, that she can't wait to share to help you find your prefect cruise holiday!

Rachel Chalmers

Rachel has experienced and travelled to many countries around the world including Fiji, Cook Islands, Asia, Australia, Central & North America, Europe, Middle East, and the UK . Rachel loves cruising and can't wait to share that passion with her clients, having taken her family on a Mediterranean cruise with Holland America Lines, she will be able to give great advice to parents and families! She brings great attention to detail, excellent customer service and in-depth knowledge to help make her clients holiday unique and unforgettable!

Billy Gutierrez

Billy has been working in the tourism industry for over 10 years, he also worked on board cruise ships for three years with Princess Cruises and P&O Ltd , making himself a true cruise specialist! During this time, Billy has had the opportunity to explore 5 continents and over 30 countries! He has cruised on large grand class ships, to destinations such as beautiful Santorini, Dubrovnik, Alaska, Vladivostok, the Carribean, Osaka, and even the Panama canal! His passion for cruising has brought him to join the Pukekohe Cruiseabout team to ensure amazing and exiting holidays for his clients.

Christine Elgar

Christine has been in the travel industry (working for Flight Centre South Africa and New Zealand) for over 11 years. She is looking forward to sharing her extensive experience and building dream holidays for cruise travellers. Amongst Christine's extensive travels are the UK, USA, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China, South Africa, Australia, Fiji, Norfolk Island, New Caledonia and Vanuatu. Her favourite holiday was cruising around the Pacific Islands and the Yasawa Islands, and she believes that cruising is the best holiday you can budget for as there is so much included.

Nichola Edgecombe

Nichola has been lapping the globe for over a decade, travelling through New Zealand, Australia, the South Pacific, North America, South East Asia, South America and Europe. Her extensive knowledge and love of travel and adventure is combined with a passion for organisation and, most importantly, excellent customer service. Nichola's approach is simple: each trip is totally customised to your requirements, with her help, you create your own personalised itinerary. Nichola has experienced small ship cruising in Australia, Indonesia and most recently the Galapagos Islands which now tops her list of favourite destinations. Whether you want to travel to the Caribbean or Europe, require a basic or complex agenda, Nichola can arrange the travel needs of one person through to one hundred people.

Reese King

Reese is passionate about cruising and everything travel related! Having spent the last twelve years enjoying a number of exciting destinations, Reese brings to the Cruiseabout team a wealth of knowledge and experience that she loves to share with all her clients. Reese combines a love for travel with excellent organisational skills and a strong commitment to customer service making the whole planning experience all the more enjoyable. Reese's most recent adventure was onboard P & O Cruises Oriana which was the first cruise ship built specifically for the British cruise market.

Mandy Hooper

Mandy has worked in wholesale and retail travel in different destinations all over the world for the past 10 years. Most recently Mandy moved from Tauranga Flight Centre. Mandy has spent time working and travelling abroad which has enabled her to use her travel experiences and share with others to help make their holidays into more than just a holiday, but an amazing unforgettable experience. Mandy's biggest highlight in her travels was swimming with and bathing Elephants in Nepal which remains her favourite destination to date. She has a passion for travelling and loves getting off the beaten track having travelled to Asia, India, South America, Europe and lived in Australia the U.S.A, U.K and Ireland. She has now returned to her home town to Cruiseabout where she loves getting involved with and organising her clients travel plans wherever they may be going and believes exceptional customer service is the key to a happy traveller.

Hayley Elliott

Hayley has worked in the travel industry for nearly 3 years, starting at Flight Centre Mount Maunganui before moving to Cruiseabout Tauranga. She has spent time living in the UK and Australia, and was fortunate to visit areas as diverse as the South Pacific, North America, Indonesia, South East Asia, Europe and South Africa. Hayley's favourite holiday destination is South Africa, in particular the beautiful beaches, gorgeous landscapes, and the wonderfully accepting and welcoming people. Hayley is extremely passionate about travel and cruising, believing she learns as much from her customers as they learn from her, and she looks forward to helping organise more exciting travel experiences for cruise travellers.

Andrew Lennox - Store Manager

Andrew is passionate about cruising and has travelled extensively to every continent including Antarctica, and sailed on more than 35 cruises. Highly skilled with international airfares and land arrangements making him ideal to organise your perfect trip, whether that be a luxurious first-class voyage ,a European river cruise, or a first time getaway on the high seas. Having visited over 70 countries Andrew is always happy to share his extensive experience and passion for travel, and for cruising in particular.With his breadth of first-hand experience Andrew is well placed to help you find the cruise that best fits your needs and expectations.

Jason Berryman

Jason has worked in travel for nine years. Having travelled the world for nearly ten years and visited over 90 cities he has an extensive body of knowledge. Jason provides unique and indispensable travel advice and is able to tailor every individual holiday to match their unique personality and needs. Jason has excellent knowledge of cruises and an awareness of how to match the right cruise experience to the right person. Jason is a group specialist and is able to arrange both intimate and larger parties starting from just 4 passengers. David Wylde

David has been travelling non-stop since leaving Scotland in 2002 and 10 years later, he still hasn’t made it back home. With 5 years experience working on board cruise ships, David has visited ports all over the world and has a huge amount of knowledge to share!
